WHY TAKE PRIVATE LESSONS?

Throughout the centuries yoga has been taught one-on-one to allow for the individualization of instruction. 

Note: All  private lessons include a free initial consultation to discuss your interests and concerns and to begin planning a program designed especially for you. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Yoga Therapy - Special Needs

Do you have specific psychological or physical issues that you would like to explore and begin healing with yoga? Are your needs not being met in group classes? Do you want to learn additional modifications and practices designed especially for your special circumstances? We will develop a practice that meets your specific needs and work together to start the healing process. Depending on the situation, yoga should, of course,  be practiced with the advice of a doctor.

 

Personal Yoga Instruction

Are you looking to go deeper into your practice? Do you want to engage in serious self-inquiry and explore dimensions of a yoga practice that are not covered in a typical class? Are you a novice who has never tried yoga and who might like some extra help geting stated? Maybe you would just enjoy a single session to get all of your questions answered. Private lessons can help you to make huge strides in your personal practice.

Develop a Home Practice

Do you want to practice more than at the studio or gym but are unsure about how to develop a home practice? A home practice can be a cost efficient way to continue to practice but stay within your budget. We will discuss your personal goals and how to make your practice consistent. You will have increased confidence with a specific practice plan. (Home practice should be done as a supplement to weekly yoga classes with an accredited yoga teacher.)
